Growing up, Will witnessed racial disparities firsthand, igniting a lifelong commitment to justice. At Catholic University, Will organized and led the creation of its first NAACP chapter. On the County Council, Will consistently stands up against systemic discrimination, ensuring Montgomery County remains a welcoming and equitable place for all.

Will introduced and passed the historic CROWN Act, making Montgomery County the first county in the nation to protect residents from discrimination based on natural hairstyles. He also was lead co-sponsor of the Racial Equity and Social Justice Act, embedding equity considerations in all county decisions.
