Where do I vote?

During early voting, Thursday, October 22 – Thursday, October 29 (7:00 AM–8:00 PM daily), you can vote at any early voting center in Montgomery County. On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, polls are open 7:00 AM–8:00 PM and you must vote at your assigned polling place. If you're in line by 8:00 PM, you have the right to vote.

Want to vote by mail?

Request by Oct 27 (mail) or Oct 30 (online)

Request your mail-in ballot by Tuesday, October 27 to receive it by mail, or by Friday, October 30 to receive it online. Return it postmarked by November 3 or in an official ballot drop box by 8:00 PM on Election Day.

Need to register to vote?

Same-day registration is available

Maryland offers same-day registration: register and vote at any early voting center October 22–29, or at your assigned polling place on November 3. Bring proof of where you live (MVA license or ID, paycheck, bank statement, or utility bill with your name and address).

What do I need to bring?

Most voters don't need ID

Most Maryland voters do not need to show ID at the polls. If you're registering same-day, or it's your first time voting after registering by mail, bring a document that proves where you live (MVA ID, paycheck, bank statement, or utility bill).
