- Both his parents run small businesses here—he knows the long hours and barriers firsthand

- Expanded county contracts through the LSBRP for local small businesses

- Championed the Minority, Female, and Disabled-Owned Business Program

- Secured major funding for the Black Collective to support Black entrepreneurs

- Put small and local businesses first

- Expand access to county contracts for local entrepreneurs

- Increase hands-on technical assistance navigating county programs

- Strengthen programs for minority-, women-, and disabled-owned businesses

- Secure access to local capital for businesses ready to grow
