When working people earn family-supporting wages and young people have real career pathways, our whole economy gets stronger.

  • Dramatically expand career and technical education pathways in MCPS

  • Build a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment facility to create jobs and attract visitors

  • Increase the amount of contracts we require to be delivered by local businesses

  • Led the largest prevailing wage expansion in Maryland history, ensuring workers on public projects earn family-supporting wages

  • Mandated local hiring on county-funded construction projects

  • Co-founded Summer RISE, providing thousands of MCPS students paid internships and career mentorship

  • Supported apprenticeship programs creating real career pathways for our youth
