Standing up to Trump means standing up for democracy right here at home. When special interests and big money drown out regular residents, people lose faith in government. I believe Montgomery County can be a model for what transparent, accountable, people-powered governance looks like. That starts with rejecting the influence of big money and making sure every resident can see how their government works and makes decisions.
