Transition Committees
Bringing community experience and expertise to the work ahead.
The Jawando Transition Committees bring together community leaders, advocates, and people with experience across the issues facing Montgomery County.
Their charge is to help turn Will’s commitments and residents’ priorities into practical recommendations for the incoming administration.
Committee members will identify early opportunities for action, listen to residents through Our Moment Montgomery, and work with county leadership to recommend policies, programs, and improvements to county services.
Together, they will help build a governing agenda grounded in racial and economic justice and responsive to the people it serves.
